Join the Dodge County Chapter of Pheasants Forever for this learn to hunt on December 18th, 2021. For adults with limited hunting experience.

We will meet at Rooster Run Hunting Preserve near Waupun, WI and hunt on nearby public land. Hunter Safety Certification, WI pheasant stamp, and a hunting license is required. We will provide shotguns, ammunition, and blaze orange gear.

We will introduce Pheasants Forever, cover basic pheasant biology and hunting tactics, introduce upland hunting dogs and tactics, review gun safety, practice wing-shooting, hunt with mentors and dogs, and with luck demonstrate cleaning a pheasant.

Provide your own lunch and snacks and dress for the weather and rough terrain/brushy conditions.
