Camp will begin with rules and regulations as they pertain to upland hunting in Missouri. Day 1 topics include: - firearms safety, operation - optimal shot size - rules and regulations - ethics - simulated field hunt - clay shoot - bird cleaning - wild game demo & dinner On Friday, lunch will be provided. Dinner will be cooked by a wild game chef! You will have an opportunity to watch as they prepare the meal that you will then be served, providing a whole circle approach to hunting and harvesting upland game.
Overnight lodging will be provided at 4 B's Hunting Resort. Breakfast will be provided on Saturday morning. Then, we will break into groups of two, providing an intimate experience with a mentor and fully trained bird dogs accompanying you into the field. Each participant will have the opportunity to harvest 4 birds. After a field dressing demonstration, you will clean and package your birds before we wrap up with lunch.
Included: meals, lodging, clay shoot, hunt and a 1 year Pheasants or Quail Forever membership! The education day (Fri 2/24) is open to 25 women. Overnight lodging and the hunt (Sat 2/25) is open to 12 women.
Cost if selected to attend: $250. Refund policy: A full refund will be issued until 14 days prior to the event. Up to 7 days prior to the event, 50% will be refunded to you. A full refund will be granted at any time if you are able to secure someone to take your spot.
