Hosted at Eckman's Hunting Preserve, the day consists of a wide array of free activities such as:
  • Target Shooting
  • Shooting Instruction (John Francis)
  • Guided Pheasants Hunts
All hunters must reserve a hunting time in advance.  Youth hunters must be between 11 and 18 years old, have an adult sponsor and a valid hunter safety certificate.  The women's hunt is open to novice hunters who must have a valid hunting license or be accompanied by a licensed mentor.

The hunt is sponsored by Johnson County Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever at no cost to hunters.  For attending, all youth will receive a free membership to Pheasants Forever Ringnecks magazine.
