This pheasant hunt conducted by the Thumb Chapter of Pheasants Forever is open to any teacher or school district employee. The day will start with an introduction to shooting safety and end with a guided three bird pheasant hunt at Rooster Ranch near Ubly MI. Participants are required to have ammo (2 boxes of target loads), hunter orange (at least a hat), and appropriately dressed for the weather. Participants are encouraged to bring their own shotgun (no hammer guns please). Experienced guides and dogs, lunch, light breakfast, and membership to Pheasants Forever will be provided. Participants can choose to hunt the morning session (8:00am - 12:00pm) or the afternoon session (12:00pm-3:30pm).
