Women On the Wing- Learn to Hunt Doe Day
Join Us for the Women on the Wing Novice Hunt Weekend!
Are you ready to dive into the world of hunting and the outdoors? Our Women on the Wing Novice Hunt is designed for women with little to no experience in hunting or firearms. This immersive weekend will take place at Quail Country Lodge in Arlington, GA, and will provide you with all the skills and confidence you need to start your hunting journey.
What to Expect:
- Hands-On Experience: Learn rifle and shotgun basics, gain comfort and confidence at the range, and understand deer hunting essentials.
- Guided Hunts: You'll be paired with experienced hunting mentors for morning and evening doe hunts, giving you the opportunity to apply what you've learned in the field.
- Field Processing: If we harvest a doe, learn hands-on deer processing and field dressing techniques.
- Additional Activities: Explore habitat, expand you conservation community, and try your hand at fishing.
What's Included:
For only $300, your registration covers lodging, meals, all educational sessions, rifle range practice, equipment rental, and all activities on the agenda. If you have your own rifle or shotgun, you're welcome to bring it along with your own ammunition.
Optional Add-On:
Stay over Saturday night for an additional fee and enjoy more time with fellow participants.
What You Need to Bring:
All you need are personal items, toiletries, and clothes suited for the outdoors. Be sure to bring good walking shoes and attire that you don’t mind getting dirty. Harvesting a deer is not required to participate.
At the Lodge:
The lodge has 15 rooms, all with 2 full beds, linens provided, shower & towels, in each room. Participants may be asked to room with another participant. But don’t let this be a barrier. We can accommodate a few single rooms as needed. The lodge will have limited Wi-Fi, but some. Cell service is spotty. But the lodge is located in Arlington, GA. It is a piece of heaven on earth with phenomenal habitat and the best host in the world.
