Youth Hunt Sponsored by Golden Triangle Chapter of PF and Golden Triangle Sporting Dog Club (GTSDC).
This will be our second year to provide this free mentoring hunt for youth. Lazy AC Game Birds from Townsend is graciously donating pheasants for this event.
Youth must have completed hunter's safety. If youth is certified as an Apprentice Hunter they may be considered for a slot.
We are limiting the event to 20 hunters. GTSDC will be providing dogs for the event. There will be an educational/training session onsite for youth before shooting event to include a shooting session with clay pigeons.
This event is FREE. Youth that have their own 20 gauge shotguns are welcome to bring them.
A firearm will be provided if your youth does not have their own. We will only be providing ammo for 20 gauge shotguns.
Please contact D.D. Funderburk for more information through the following methods; messenger on this page, email pres0505@pfofficers.org or call/text 406.727.4676.
Initial information needed to sign up is youth name, age, parents name, and contact information. Last year was fun and we look forward to getting the kids outdoors. Details for event will be posted in August.
