Navigations & Libations! Navigating the Uplands with OnX Hunt
Do you have the OnX Hunt app, but are not sure just how to apply it in the field? Join us for a day of hands-on learning as we wander the uplands of Walla Walla’s Lake Bennington.
Together, we will go over the basic functions of OnX Hunt including:
· Setting and navigating waypoints
· Recording paths with the OnX tracker
· Measuring distances and areas
· Generating offline maps
· Identify hunting habitat
· Creating content folders to manage and share data with others
Afterwards there will be a drawing for prizes and those who want to continue the comradery can join us at the nearby Burwood Brewery for no host beverages and food. Beginner OnX Hunt App Users welcome! In addition to prizes, each time you attend a Women on the Wing event you are automatically entered for our grand prize, a $500 Cabelas Gift Card! OnX hunt is great for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, whether it be hunting in the Uplands, hiking, or simply walking along many of the beautiful trails at Bennington Lake. We hope you will join us!
