Join the NC Chapter of Women On the Wing for a day of Girls, Gun Dogs and Gear!
We are excited to meet others interested in joining our Women on the Wing chapter!
**All proceeds go to our WOTW North Carolina Chapter**
Location: Hendersonville, NC
Date: Saturday October 21st
Time: 9am - 4pm
Cost per person: member $50, nonmember $85 (non member price includes $35 membership fee)
Workshop Cost includes: lunch, instruction, use of field, use of homing pigeons
Workshop Topics include:
First Aid for both huntress and dog
Hunting Gear
Hunting Clothes
Guns
Hands on bird dog training
Must haves for your dog on the field
Dogs are welcome to come but limited to 5 dogs (1/handler)! In order for your dog to participate in the workshop you MUST send us the dog's updated rabies vaccination, where we can see the dog's breed, age, sex (neutered or fixed?). You MUST confirm they are friendly with other dogs and people. - (We hold the right to refuse before, day of or during the event. If we are told the dog is friendly but acting otherwise, dog must be put away in the car or in the crate).
Homing pigeons are free unless your dog catches, injures and/or kills the bird. For injures you are responsible for veterinarian care. If your dog kills a homing pigeon, you will need to pay $50/bird.
