The Yellowstone Valley Chapter of Pheasants Forever takes pride in putting ever dollar we raise on a yearly basis toward expanding hunting opportunities for our members through habitat improvement projects, expanded property access, and youth involvement initiatives. Most of our funding each year comes from our annual fundraising banquet, typically held in the spring. Unfortunately, due to social distancing restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, our chapter has been unable to have a traditional fundraising banquet this year. To make matters worse, our chapter was in the late stages or preparing for our 2020 banquet when restrictions were put in place, which means that we had already purchased all of the firearms that are often the most coveted raffle prizes at our event.
In order to try to recoup those costs and generate funding to support our local initiatives for the coming year, the Yellowstone Valley Chapter will be hosting a virtual banquet that will start Saturday, October 24th and culminate with drawings for each of the available prize items (including 28 guns!) on Saturday, December 26th. This is a separate fundraiser from the Upland Opener Sweepstakes that you may have seen advertised on Facebook or in other locations. 100% of the funds raised by way of the Yellowstone Valley Pheasants Forever Virtual Banquet will be spent on projects in our local, 9-County service area!
