In an effort to introduce Michigan youth to the outdoors, we are hosting the
21st Annual Clinton County, Chuck Gorman Youth Day:
When: Saturday, August 5th, 2023, from 9:00am-2:00pm
Where: The Fowler Conservation Club 3580 S Wright Rd, Fowler, MI 48835
(Show up anytime but arrive early enough for all the fun activities before the event ends at 2 pm.)
Volunteers from: Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, Friends of the Maple River
(FOMR), and The National Deer Association (NDA) will be overseeing the different
stations during the event.
This is a FREE event, open to children ages 5-15 years old, who must attend with a
Parent/Guardian. It will provide hands-on outdoor-oriented activities for the
participating youth. Free lunch and drinks are also provided for all attending. There will
also be fun give-a-ways for all attendees.
The mission of Youth Day is to introduce young people to the outdoors and educate them on
conservation and our natural resources. This year's activities will include, shooting shotguns at flying
clays and stationary targets, air rifle range, archery range, kayaking, animal track casting, and more.
