The McPherson Area Pheasants/Quail Forever chapter would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite you to join us for a fun filled evening! Because of your generous support we are able to continue supporting our Mission - to be the premier habitat and conservation organization in Central Kansas with an emphasis on supporting youth outdoor education and development.
This past year we were able to fulfill much of our aforementioned mission. With the contributions you made and through hard work of a few key volunteers we were able to accomplish the following - just to name a few: Major improvements to the Uplands Outdoor Life Center near Conway, Kansas; Sponsored two Hunter Education Safety Courses, Sponsored in-part the ammunition and targets for the local high school target team that had over 15 participants, Donated over $500 to Pheasants Forever National for legislative affairs issues, youth programs, and training, Donated over $500 to No Child Left Indoors Program (NCLI), Continued Support of Outdoor Mentor Program, Hosted a Sporting clays event in October for Sponsors, Supported Habitat Conservation Bills, Planted habitat suitable to sustain wildlife in our region - and the list goes on.
Come early this year to learn more about our Chapter and what we do! Starting at 1:00 pm we will have a Regional Biologist from PF/QF speak about new programs offered to Farmers/Property owners and a Question/Answer session following. We also have representatives from Outdoor Mentors coming to share about an up and coming Youth Outdoor Mentor Hunting Initiative - No child left indoors. We will have activities for the entire family including corn hole, 3d shooting, and much more so come hang with us for a bit!
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Doors open to public for Biologist Presentation followed by Q&A session.
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Public welcome to come by to view booths and talk to PF Committee members, High School and College Trap Team Coaches.
