Third Annual Prairie Hills Youth Hunt
October 1st, 2022 | 8:30am - 4:00pm
Registration begins at Cloud 9 at 8:30am on Saturday, October 1st.
- After registration, participants will be transported via bus to the Watertown Trap Range for safety orientation and trap shooting
- After trap shooting, participants will be transported to designated hunting areas; youth hunting will last approximately 2 hours
- Upon hunt completion, participants will return to Cloud 9 for bird cleaning instruction, a meal, drawings for prizes, and celebration!
This event is limited to the first 40 youth participants ages 12 - 17.
Parents or guardians are welcome to accompany their youth on the hunt and in the field.
Participants must have a current Youth Membership.
Participants must also have a current YOUTH SMALL GAME HUNTING LICENSE.
All youth participants must supply their own shotgun and have blaze orange that meets South Dakota Game Fish and Parks hunting regulation requirements. Please wear a blaze orange hat.
