Ark River Pheasants Forever 2-day Youth Event

This event will be held at Irish Creek Outfitters, 3907 E. Irish Creek Rd. Haven, KS 67543. All youth attending event, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Parents or guardians will be staying the night with youth at Irish Creek Outfitters on Saturday evening or if you feel more comfortable to go home and return the next day you are more than welcome too. We will be giving the opportunity for 10 youth to enjoy what it is to stay the night at a hunting lodge, learn some dog training skills, how to create new habitat area, and get the chance for a good controlled pheasant hunt.

The event schedule is as follows: Pop and Water will be supplied for all meals and throughout the day. (Milk, coffee and juice with Breakfast)

Day One:   8am meet and greet

         9am Hands on Dog training course (Puppy Basics)

                   12pm Lunch (Pizza)

                    1pm Habitat Program and Training

                    5pm Dinner (Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and chips)

                    7pm Fun around the Fire (making S’mores and hanging out)

Day 2:     8:30am Breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes)

                9:30am Youth hunt

                12pm lunch (Pulled Pork Sandwiches, baked beans, and potatoes salad)

                Bird Cleaning

                Gun Giveaway

                Head home.
