Bat Night
Dr. Eileen Wyza and Kyle Casey from Ohio Department of Wildlife will present a brief overview of bat biology, diversity of species in Ohio, threats to populations, and how the Division of Wildlife studies them, including some volunteer opportunities.

Dr. Eileen Wyza is a wildlife biologist for threatened and endangered terrestrial species in the state of Ohio. She earned her Master’s and PhD at Ohio University studying the conservation of carnivores and now uses that background to help conserve species like snakes, rodents, and bats with the Division of Wildlife. Kyle Casey is the Ohio Division of Wildlife District 1 Wildlife Communications Specialist. He is in charge of Information and Education for District 1, which includes 13 central Ohio counties.
