Butler County CRP and Pollinator Field Tour
Iowa Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever invites you to come join us at our pollinator field days to learn more about the importance of pollinators and their habitat. Information will be presented on pollinators, wildlife habitat, and how to manage natives while walking through the prairie to enjoy its beauty, and plenty of time for discussion. If you have CRP that is supposed to be natives or prairie vegetation, there may be chances to see the different stages of establishment.
These events are free and open to the public, please RSVP. Events are held outside, weather permitting, so it’s suggested to wear long pants, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. First several people to register will get a free prairie/native plant plug!
Snacks and water will be provided!
There are other opportunities to join across the state; events available near Clarksville, Coon Rapids, Decorah, Fairfax, Larchwood, Littleton, and Rockford. To find the closest event and further information please visit/click on this website www.IowaPF.net/eventscenter.
