Carver County Pheasants Forever Hands on Habitat Day
Join us for our annual Hands-on Habitat Day to help improve and make a difference at the Tiger Lake WPA/WMA complex while meeting others who are also interested in conservation in Carver County!
Projects to include:

1. Removal and herbicide treatment of remaining undesired brush/trees on the Schrupp tract.

2. Remove railroad telegraph poles, located near the railroad tracks running through the property.

3. Fence removal on the south WMA tract.

4. Removal and herbicide treatment of woody material growing on newer restoration areas.

5. Continue removal of undesired and herbicide treatment of trees/brush along the north ridge of Tiger Lake.

6. Identify and mark invasive Tansey plants, to be treated by the USFWS at a later date.
If you have equipment such as chain saws, pruners or other tools that will help and are willing to use for the project, please do so. Please bring/wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves.
Lunch on-site will be provided afterwards.

I grant to Pheasants Forever Inc. and Quail Forever, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs of me and my property in connection with the above-identified subject. I authorize Pheasants Forever Inc. and Quail Forever to use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that Pheasants Forever Inc. and Quail Forever may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content. I have read and understand the above.
