The PF WI Women's chapter is partnering with Dane County Parks and Neighborhood House (Madison) for a Chainsaw 1 Class.
Class Info:
Time: 8:30am-evening
Location: Meet at Neighborhood House: 29 S. Mills St, Madison, WI 53715
Attendee Cost: $25 plus personal equipment
Class starts at 8:30 am at Neighborhood House (Madison). We will begin with classroom instruction and then move into the skills training at Lake Farm Park.
This class costs $150 per participant, which the chapter has agreed to sponsor for 5 chapter members to attend. It is first-come-first-served. To reserve your seat, you need to pay $25 and agree to provide your personal protective equipment. If you would like some recommendations, I can speak with the instructor and get a shopping list.
Equipment attendees must provide:
-Leather gloves
-Eye protection
-Ear protection
-Steel-toed boots
Optional equipment:
-Helmets (will be provided to loan, but you may want your own)
-Chaps (will be provided to loan, but you may want your own)
