East of Downer on County 10 for 1.5 miles and then North on 170th Street S for a mile.

Clay County Pheasants Forever will be hosting a Youth Hunt and Women's Learn to Hunt afternoon! Join us on Sunday, September 29th, 2024! We will start at 1:00pm and go until 5:00pm. This Youth Event will be open to 12-to-15-year old's that have completed their hunter safety course and have their certificate. The Women's Learn to Hunt will introduce beginning hunters the basics to a successful experience in the field. There is no cost for the day.
This event will include a meet and greet with the local DNR Officer, information on gun safety in the field, clay pigeon shooting and hunting live birds. Attendees will need to provide their own gun and ammunition.
We will limit the event to 20 participants so sign up as soon as you can to secure your spot.
The field is located a few miles NE of Downer. We will post the location as the event gets closer.
