Mentor Hunt Registration is at 8:00 a.m.
Youth Hunt Registration is at 10:00 a.m.
Youth Hunt Registration is at 10:00 a.m.
Adult Mentor Hunt starts at 8:15 a.m. and ends approx. 11:00 a.m.
Youth Hunt starts at 10:15 a.m. and ends approx. 1:00 p.m.
Four activity stations are available: Trap shooting, Archery, bird and firearm cleaning, and a supervised bird hunt with dogs. Every hunter will get a shot at a live bird. Hunters with physical disabilities please inquire about accessible accommodations.
This event is FREE. The event is limited to the first 48 registered participants, 24 Youth Hunters and 24 Mentor Hunters. All hunters must have their DNR Hunter Safety Certificate with them. Registration is required so that we get enough birds for everyone. Please provide DNR customer number with registration.
The event will be held at Swamplover’s Foundation, northwest of Cross Plains at 5053 Co Rd KP. Look for the big red and white tent.
