EQIP and CRP Pollinator Plot Establishment

The EQIP field trip would entail a visit to various landowners in Houston County to illustrate the progress of various pollinator projects, with the objective of describing the application, ranking, federal funding sources, and subsequent establishment details for an EQIP pollinator project that has been made available through the Improving Working Lands for Wildlife Program. It is my goal to promote the EQIP wildlife programs and initiatives to educate and inform fellow planners, partners, and landowners of the various options with EQIP to help restore, establish, or enhance unique habitat for pollinating insects. I would like to take our participants to various properties in the Houston and La Crescent areas to illustrate several pollinator projects in their second and third year of establishment.
