One of Wyandot County Pheasants Forever main community habitat projects has been the habitat enhancement at the Upper Sandusky Reservoir over the last 20 years. As with any habitat project, periodic habitat management is needed to ensure we have the best wildlife habitat as possible. You have likely seen more areas planted from lawn grasses to wildflowers as one of those enhancements. Unfortunately, we have some undesirable and potentially invasive shrubs and trees that need to be treated. On June 11th, we plan on cutting those trees and creating brush piles that will benefit other wildlife species. Please contact us at WyandotPF@gmail.com if you are interested in attending and/or volunteering.
