Hands-on Habitat enhancement event! 

UPDATE! The first (10) attendees will receive a FREE 5 lb bag of Purina Pro Plan dog food just for showing up to help!!

Ninnescah Chapter of Pheasants Forever will hold its 2nd annual spent shotgun shell and trash pick-up at Texas Lake Wildlife area.  The event will be held Saturday April 13th, 2024 beginning at 10:00 am.  The chapter will furnish bottled water/energy drinks and snacks.  Bring your "picker up thingy" and 5-gallon buckets to assist us in cleaning up the publica wildlife area.  All our welcome, big or small, old or young! Please register to ensure we know how many helping hands we will have.

Please meet at the Texas Lake Wildlife Area headquarters. Texas Lake is located at 10270 NW 130th Ave, Haviland, KS 67059.  Or from Pratt, Kansas..go west on Hiway 54 to 130th Avenue (13 miles west of First and Main in Pratt), then north approximately 2 miles to the dead end. Headquarters will be on the east side of the road. We will meet at the Texas Lake HQ and depart from there.
