This is a field day only; class will be from 2-8pm, students must bring proof of online course completion (https://www.hunter-ed.com/michigan/) OR bring a completed copy of the Chapter Review Exercise questions in the back of the “Today’s Hunter in Michigan” book. This handbook is available at the Capital Area Sportsmen’s League, free of charge. This is a community service program offered by the Capital Area Sportsmen’s League in cooperation with Michigan DNR. There is no charge for the field day. If you choose to take the online training option, there is a small charge for that. We will do some review of the material, help you take the written exam, and, hopefully, send you on your way with your new Hunter Safety Certificate. - Students under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult during the entire class. - You must be registered as a student prior to class. We do not expect to have room for walk-ins.
Upon completion of the class, about 6pm. We will have a live fire shooting option available 6 to 8pm free of charge. All guns and ammo, and pizza supper will be provided by Eaton County Pheasants Forever.
