Due to popular demand, Hunter's Hangout is back again this year!! If you are planning on hunting Beaver River WMA and/or the surrounding area on opening day of Quail Season, come on by after hunting! Meet and talk with other hunters, meet and visit with Quail Forever, OSU, Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation and Texas Parks & Wildlife Biologists in a fun, relaxed and social setting.
This is a great opportunity to see how your harvested birds are wing tip aged, learn some of the latest quail research, as well as a chance for our Pheasants & Quail Forever Wildlife Biologists to meet and talk with you about habitat on your property! We can't wait to see you!!
Drinks are allowed but will not be provided, so please feel free to bring your own! However - due to the overwhelming demand for food last year, we will have a caterer bring in food this year for $20/person. Dinner will be grilled chicken, brisket, corn, twice baked potatoes, rolls, cake and tea - Yum!
Make sure you tell your friends and hunting buddies so that they can plan in advance too! Last we hosted hunters from all over the United States, so plan on doing some bragging, learning and having some fun!
