An introductory wingshooting clinic will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25, at Middle Fork State Fish nd Wildlife Area near Collison, Ill. (northwest of Danville). The clinic is open to both female and male beginner/novice shooters who are at least 10 years old and up. Instructors certified by the Illinois Dept. of Natural Resources (IDNR) and/or the National Sporting Clays Assn. will teach participants basic firearm and hunter safety, wingshooting fundamentals and practical wingshooting. 28-gauge shotguns, shells, targets and ear protection will be furnished, and lunch will be provided.
