This one-day event (limited to 12 people) is designed to introduce those with little to no fire experience to an actual prescribed fire.  Event participants will watch 45 minutes of online videos prior to the field day.  Then the day of the fire Josh and his crew will describe the role fire can play in grassland management of prairies as you and other staff watch the experts use fire to manage CRP. Fire season does not follow a schedule, and participants should be ready for short notice changes to location and timing.  For this reason, we are scheduling a rain day of May 5, 2021
