Irvine Prairie Walkabout
You are invited to come join us at our field day to learn more about the importance of pollinators and native habitat. Information will be presented on pollinators, wildlife habitat, and how to manage natives while walking through the prairie to enjoy its beauty, and plenty of time for discussion. If you have CRP that is supposed to be natives or prairie vegetation, there will be chances to see the different stages of establishment.
This event is free, open to the public, family-friendly, for men and women. Event will be held outside so it’s suggested to wear long pants, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. Some walking and slightly uneven ground will be present. Please bring a chair to sit, chat, and have snacks afterwards. If event is canceled due to weather, rain date will be July 11th.
