The Johnson County Chapter of Pheasants Forever is hosting its annual Youth Mentor Hunt on Saturday, October 24th. This event is free and marketed to individuals between the ages of 12-17, especially those with limited opportunity to learn to hunt. Due to COVID-19 pre-cautions we will not be providing meals this year and will run participants through activities in small groups at assigned times. Youth will be provided shooting and upland hunting safety instruction. A mentored hunt will follow. Total anticipated time will be 2-2 1/2 hours per group. You will be emailed to set up for a time slot and provided waivers.
