Join ODWC Wildlife biologists, game wardens and education staff for a day of fun and education at the Kaw WMA gun range.
What: WMA open house focused on access, squirrel and rabbit hunting, hunter education
Date: Oct. 12
Location: Kaw WMA gun range
Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., Introduction to Kaw WMA, gun safety for small game, how to get involved, hands-on shotgun shooting and working with dogs.
12-1 Lunch
OPEN TO GO HUNTING: 1p.m. - 3 p.m. hunting on the WMA. Some guides will be available for participants who request them.
Cost is $10 per participant, with lunch included. Those 18 or younger will receive the $15 youth Quail Forever membership with registration. Participants 19 or older have the option to register for an adult membership to QF ad an additional cost.
