Calling all ladies that have ever had an interest in hunting, shotgun shooting, or wildlife conservation. Big Bluestem Quail Forever's Women on the Wing chapter is launching a program designed specifically for you!
Our second event in the program is a guided mentor hunt where you will learn how to confidently hunt behind dogs in the field.
This event is designed for women and girls ages 12 and up. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must be 57 inches tall in order to shoot a shotgun.
Eye and ear protection, guns, and ammunition will be provided, but you are free to bring your own gun and gear. The event cost is $20 for hunters ages 16 and up. Ages 12-15 are free but must register.
All participants ages 16 and up must have a valid Oklahoma hunting license or a valid Oklahoma apprentice hunting license. Hunters ages 12-15 must have a valid Oklahoma Hunter Safety ID number. See link below for more info or email us at bigbluestemsqf@gmail.com
