This class is designed for students interested in becoming an upland bird hunter. Topics of the class include the where, when and how to Pheasant and Ruffed Grouse hunt in Michigan. A variety of hands-on activities will occur including a walk-through Pheasant and Ruffed Grouse habitat, watching a dog work, and shooting at clay targets. Students are encouraged to bring their own shotguns. Ammo will be provided. Participants must be 12 years or older and hunter safety certification is preferred. There is no fee for this class and class size is limited to 12 students.
