Join us for a fun youth learn to pheasant hunt event on September 21st!
We will start the day off with education and gun handling followed by shooting clays to get a feel for shooting.
After Clays, we will break the youth into groups and proceed with our hunt portion of the day. There will be a mentor with each youth along with a dog and handler with each group. Each youth will get 2 pheasants to hunt.
Once the hunt is done, we will do field dressing of the birds, and even have a small sample of cooked pheasant for the youth to try!
This will be a great event to learn to pheasant hunt from start to finish.
Lunch will be provided after the hunt, and we will have snacks and water/drinks available throughout the day.
This event is for youth ages 12-18.
Youth must have their Hunters Safety certification
We will have guns for the youth to use. Ammo provided as well.
We are limiting the event to 12 youth total. If the event is full and you are interested, please email us and we will put you on a waiting list if anyone backs out.
