Brown County Pheasants Forever is Sponsoring a Mentored Youth Hunt.
This will be held on September 23, 2023 starting at 9:00 am sharp. Location will be Springfield, MN. The following are the requirements for this event.
Requirements:
- Ages: 12-15 (Must Have Firearm Safety Completed).
- Pheasants Forever Membership (Either Parent or Youth). See Pheasants Forever Membership(s) .
- Signed Liability Waiver.
- Parent presence at the Event (If willing to help Mentor - Great!).
- Priority will be given to Brown County residence and youth's that have never hunted.
- Maximum of 20 hunters will be approved to hunt.
Following the hunt, a BBQ lunch will be served.
What to Bring?
- Shotgun that the youth can handle (e.g. .410, .20 gauges).
- Shells
- Blaze orange vest or covering with hat.
- Eye protection.
- Comfortable boots.
If you do not have any of these items, please discuss when you are registering.
