If you are a veteran from the Watertown area, here is an opportunity for you! The Prairie Hills Pheasant Forever Chapter is hosting our inaugural Veteran's hunt. This event is open to 15 area veterans. The event will take place on Saturday, October 5th, 2024. Registration will take place at the American Legion Codington County Post 17 in Watertown at 8:30 am, and then departing to Glacial Lakes Hunting Lodge where we will warm up by shooting clay pigeons, and then pheasant hunt. Lunch will be provided by the American Legion Riders from Watertown.
All hunters will be required to provide their own shotgun and safety orange. Shotgun shells, hunting licenses, and dogs will be provided. If a shotgun is needed, you may request that at signup.
