If you are a veteran from the Watertown area, here is an opportunity for you! The Prairie Hills Chapter, in conjunction with the Coteau Prairie Chapter, is hosting our inaugural Veteran's hunt. This event is open to 20 area veterans; 10 from the Watertown area and 10 from the Clear Lake, SD area. The event will take place on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. Registration will take place at the VFW in Watertown frm 8:30-9:00, followed by some trap shooting. We will then travel to Dakota Ridge Hunting Lodge for some pheasant hunting then will travel back to the VFW in Watertown. Lunch will be provided by the American Legion Riders from Watertown.
All hunters will be required to provide their own shotgun and safety orange. Shotgun shells, hunting licenses, and dogs will be provided. If a shotgun is needed, you may request that at signup.
