Morning Session – Classroom (10am – 12pm):
Learn the basics on how and when to conduct a prescribed fire on your prairie. Review, with time to complete, a prescribed burn plan required for USDA programs.

Afternoon Session – Field (1pm – 3pm):
Live demonstration (weather permitting) from staff on firing techniques and equipment use. Participants will also have time to test out and familiarize themselves with equipment used on prescribed burns.

Lunch will be provided, and feel free to join us for one, or both sessions.
