Join staff from Quail Forever and the National Wild Turkey Federation as we discuss management techniques surrounding turkey habitat. There will be a classroom portion, as well as a field tour looking at various types of turkey habitat. A free lunch will be provided by the Mark Twain Chapter of Quail Forever, and the Heimer family. Please bring an ATV/UTV if you have one for the field tour portion. The tour will be taking place at the end of July, be prepared for the weather, and various field conditions by bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray.
This is a free event, please register by July 20th.
Directions- From HWY J go south on Shelby 183. Take a right to go west on Shelby 178, the driveway to the Heimer property will be on the south side of the road.
