West Plains PBA Formation Meeting

Want to use prescribed fire to manage your property? Want to gain prescribed fire experience? A Prescribed Burn Association (PBA) may be the answer! Through a neighbor-helping-neighbor approach, PBAs can help provide equipment, experience, training, and peoplepower. Join us to learn: PBA functions & benefits, how to form a PBA, and how to participate!

For an efficient Formation Meeting, please view the recording of the PBA Interest Meeting here. This recording shares how PBAs overcome the hurdles we face in applying prescribed fire, how PBAs can be structured and function, and describes the process to form one. As you view the recording, think about how you see yourself plugging into the PBA. 

In this Formation Meeting, we will answer questions you may have from the recording and begin discussion of how this group would like the PBA to operate, generate potential names for the PBA, and open the floor for board member nominations/voting. We would love to see you at the meeting, and encourage you to invite any neighbors and friends that would be interested in participating in the formation of this PBA!

This is a free event but the process to register is to "purchase" a free ticket. You will not be charged for the ticket and no payment information is collected. Add a ticket(s) to the Cart, Check Out, enter your name and email, and Get Tickets. We will use your ticket purchase to get a head count for the meeting, so you do not need to bring a ticket with you.
