Please join us for our upcoming Women Caring for the Land Learning Circle! This women-centered workshop is for female landowners interested in cost-share programs and conservation practices focused on managing habitat for quail and other wildlife.
Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever resource professionals will be discussing how conservation programs can protect natural resources and benefit landowners. Learn about quail habitat, different program options, conservation practices and see habitat management practices first-hand on the field tour.
Includes a morning meeting & discussion, box lunch & a habitat tour at a nearby property.
The workshop is FREE but registration is REQUIRED.
Check-in and breakfast snacks at 8:30am; discussion starts at 9am. Lunch (sandwich, chips, cookie) around noon followed by habitat tour at a private property ~20 minutes away. Dress comfortably for being in the field (sturdy boots, hat, long pants) and bring sunscreen and/or bug spray if you need it.
