SOLD OUT! Event registration is closed for this hike - all spots were filled! Check back for future women's events in Missouri!
Interested in learning how to identify Missouri's native plant species? Looking to spend some time enjoying the outdoors? Join us at our Women on the Wing Native Plant ID Hike!!
Ladies from Missouri PFQF, Wander Woman Outdoors, and MU School of Natural Resources will lead a hike at Prairie Fork Conservation Area where we will explore a few different habitat types and learn to identify some of the common (and maybe even rare) native plants found in Missouri!
This event is FREE! Spaces are limited, register now to reserve your spot!
Field guides and other identification resources will be provided, and we'll be there to help with ID! Bring a friend or family member for a fun adventure in the outdoors to improve your native plant ID skills! If you have your own field guide(s) you prefer, feel free to bring it along.
Drinks, trail-friendly snacks and a box lunch (sandwich, chips, drink) will be provided. We will contact you after you register to get your lunch order. Dress comfortably for being in the outdoors and wear shoes for walking on gravel and dirt trails; bring bug spray and sunscreen.
We hope to see you there!!
If you have any questions, diet restrictions or require special accommodations, please reach out to Kim Cole at kcole@quailforever.org or Jessica White at jessica@wanderwomanks.com
This event is sponsored by Grow Native! and Corteva Agriscience - thank you for your support!
