Women on the Wing Turkey Hunt

This is an overnight weekend class for women with limited or no hunting experience hunting turkeys. This is a two-part class. The first part is an online module covering basic turkey hunting information on April 9 from 6 PM to 8 PM. The other part of the class will be held at the Crex Meadows facilities in NW Wisconsin. Arrival will be Friday, April 12, afternoon followed by dinner; there is no required arrival time but those who get to Crex with time to shoot may hunt with their mentors Saturday AM. Saturday AM will be breakfast and range practice (for those who did not get to practice Friday) and then an afternoon hunt with your mentor, and another chance to hunt Sunday AM with a noon departure. All meals are provided as are turkey gear, shotguns, and ammo. There are no licenses required but you must have your hunter safety certification. The purchase of a Pheasants Forever membership and a $50 fee for supplies are required.
