Women's Mentored Javelina Hunting Camp

Yuma Desert Doves is teaming up with the AZ Outdoor Skills Network and a variety of sponsors and will support the annual Javelina Hunting Camp for novice women hunters to learn skills for hunting with archery equipment, muzzleloader, or handgun. Experienced hunting mentors are provided. We would like to encourage our members to sign up for the camp ASAP, as the spots are very limited and will fill up quickly!

About the Location

Just west of milepost 4 on the Arivaca-Sasabe rd. The camp is on the south side near the communications tower. 4 miles East of Hwy 286
 
Please note that you will need a javelina hunting permit to participate as a mentored hunter. Hunt unit numbers to apply for are  #5077(36A), #5078(36B) best for using a bow and #5079(36C). Deadline to apply is 10/13/21! Website for permit applications is https://www.azgfd.com/Hunting/Draw/
