Women's Shooting Event
Come join the Southern WI Women's Pheasants Forever Chapter for a Women’s Shoot on August 26, from 11am-2pm.
We are meeting at Gehrig Farms: 5110 Connor Rd., Janesville, WI, United States, Wisconsin
This women’s-only event is for both experienced and new shotgun shooters. It is a fun, social gathering where you get firearms training and encouragement, ask questions in a safe and nonjudgmental environment, improve your shooting skills, and make new friends.
For experienced shooters, you can join others at the range or throw some clays. For new shooters, the goal is to offer no-pressure instruction and an introduction to responsible handling and use. We will be providing access to 12-gage and 20-gage shotguns, ammunition for the shoot, and safety equipment. We will only be using shotguns at the range, but you’ll have the opportunity to learn about a variety of firearms if you wish.
The cost is $60 for adults 18+ and includes lunch, and a one-year Pheasants Forever membership. Registration is required.
Pheasants Forever's mission is to conserve pheasants, quail, and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public access, education, and conservation advocacy. Our chapter aims to inspire and provide opportunities for women to become engaged, dynamic conservationists. No matter if you are brand new to the outdoors or a well experienced outdoors goer, all are welcomed to have great conversation and company!
