Join the Illinois River Valley chapter of Pheasants Forever the weekend following Thanksgiving (Saturday Nov. 27 & Sunday Nov. 28) for the opportunity to hunt pheasants in a controlled environment with experienced hunters and dog handlers.
This event is open to youth (10& up) and women specifically -- but we also invite any guys who have NEVER hunted pheasants before to join in on the fun!
A hunting license is not required for the event -- all you have to do is show up (and have passed a Hunter's Safety Course) and be prepared to learn. If you don't have a shotgun, our chapter will have 20 gauge and 12 gauge firearms available.
