YOUTH & FAMILY SPORTING CLAYS EVENT
Join us for a fun day with the family. We invite you to a SPORTING CLAYS EVENT for youth and their families. This is a good time for the whole family to spend together in the outdoors. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM at the Downers Grove Sportsmen’s Club located at 4700 West Old Stage Rd in Morris, IL. After checking in, a breakfast is available for everyone present and the event starts immediately following. This event is open to all family members. Each youth aged 18 and under will be shooting for free and we will provide shotgun shells (20 or 12 gauge) for this event. Also, each youth participating will receive a Pheasants Forever Ringneck Membership for one year. All participates need to provide their own shotgun. If you don’t own a shotgun, we have six youth guns that can be borrowed, but you need to let us know ahead of time. Each participant must have the ability to handle a shotgun in a safe manner. All youth under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or a legal authorized guardian.

This will be a 50-round course. Each adult 19 years of age and older must provide your own shells (50 total) and a $20 fee when checking in the day of the event. All shooters will be divided up in groups of approximately six in a group at a time will shoot at different locations along the course. Fifty rounds should take approximately 2 - 2-1/2 hours. All proceeds go to benefit local chapter projects.
