Participants will start with basic instructions on rabbit habitat, hunting strategies and firearms used for hunting them.  Participants will then go outside to learn basic shotgun skills by shooting multiple times at running "rabbits" from a commercial clay target thrower.  Participants are responsible for bring their own shotgun and one box of ammo.  Ammo must be target loads of 7.5 or 8 shot.
