Join us for a fun youth event!
Free to the public & open to youth ages 10-15yo. Lunch is provided!
We will be giving away 2 youth 20 gauge shotguns to 2 lucky participants!

Resident hunters ages 15 or younger may hunt rooster (male) pheasants during the Youth Pheasant Season without having a Hunting License, paying the Habitat Fee, or passing a hunter education course. The youth hunter must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older who has a valid Hunting License and has paid the Habitat Fee if normally required to do so to hunt. Only the youth may shoot pheasants.

- 7AM Registration with breakfast provided
- 7:30AM gun safety
- 8AM groups begin hunting
- Lunch and bird cleaning to follow
- Pickup 11:30-12:00
Things to bring: Shotgun, shells, boots, long pants, orange clothing/vest, and warm clothing. We will try to have a few items on hand for those in need, but we encourage you to bring any necessary equipment if possible. Contact us if you might need to borrow anything for the hunt.
Licensed adult mentors will be provided, but any parents or adults who wish to tag along are encouraged to do so.
