This pheasant hunt conducted by Saginaw Chapter of Pheasants Forever with cooperation from Saginaw Conservation District is open to any youth ages 12-17. The day will start with an introduction to shooting safety and practice at Saginaw Field and Stream and end with a guided pheasant hunt at Shiawasee River State Game area in St. Charles. Participants are required to have a hunter safety certificate, non-toxic ammo, hunter orange (at least a hat), a parent or guardian in attendance, and appropriately dressed for the weather. Participants are encouraged to bring their own shotgun (no hammer guns please). Participants must preregister for this event by visiting the web site https://www.saginawcd.com/ Cost of this event is free but a refundable deposit of $20 is required. This event will include lunch.
